I am a food nerd and restaurant snob so I found this “How it Works” podcast a really fun listen. It is a pretty elementary overview of molecular gastronomy, but still nice to get a quick idea of how it actually works. I have been fortunate enough to have visited both El Bulli and Fat Duck which are mentioned in the podcast and try out some of the dishes that they refer to. Lucky, I am.
