One thing that I have noticed with my newfound love of Macs is they tend to get boiling hot when you have them on your lap. On the MacBook Air it was really bad, but my MacBook Pro ranks up there as well.
My solution to the problem?
. It has a USB fan on the bottom that keeps the laptop nice and cool and away from my lap. At first I found this to be pretty geeky, but now that I am used to it, I actually really like it. It has some non-slip pads on it to keep the laptop from falling off and it is pretty lightweight. The fan does make a weird noise when it starts, but that stops in a few seconds and then there is just a quiet whir.
All in all, if you don’t like to burn your legs on your Mac, then I suggest getting one of these puppies.
