One thing that I really love… Rice Krispy treats. Yummm. But it is difficult to actually make them in Europe because the marshmallows are not the same as the ones in the States so you will end up with some nasty fruity flavoured Rice Krispy treats.

But not anymore. I special ordered some good old fashioned American Little Becky mini marshmallows and I’m going to whip up a batch of treats. Yipee! Now my only question is if they sell Rice Krispies here. I don’t eat breakfast so I have no idea the state of breakfast cereal affairs is here. Guess I’ll find out soon enough.

Rice Krispy treat recipe
Servings: 12

Ingredients
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (10 oz.) package regular marshmallows
4 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies®

Directions

1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add KELLOGG’S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool. Best if served the same day.
