On my way to work this morning, I was listening to Juicy by Notorious BIG or Biggie Smalls or Frank White or just plain old Biggie, as I like to call him, and it got me thinking…

Would the world be a different place if Biggie was still alive?

I mean, seriously, think about it.

If Biggie were still around then maybe Tupac would still be here. And by now their rivalry would be resolved and they’d be friends kickin’ it and the Palestinians and Israelis would followed this example and we would have peace in the Middle East.

Other things that might have been different if Biggie were alive?

• For shizzle mah nizzle Puffy would still be living in the background on Biggie’s albums saying “what what” and no one in the Hamptons would have to deal with him
• J Lo wouldn’t have gone out with Puff which wouldn’t have led to her trying to change her image with Bennifer and would have saved me from gossip tabloid hell for months
• Lil’ Kim wouldn’t have gone to jail and would have taken that time to reflect and write her book
• 9/11 probably wouldn’t have happened since Biggie, like Nostradamus, had predicted it with his lyrics “blow up like the World Trade” and people would have taken heed

So many things - could’ve, would’ve, should’ve.

RIP Biggie.  It’s all good, baby baby.
