Being that I am a master of making enemies, I thought that today I would post one tip on how to make friends…

Buy them cupcakes.

Seriously, who hates cupcakes? No one!

Look how happy Arlie is!

Yum, cupcakes

You can order them in London at a place called Lola’s online and they even customise and deliver them! Go for it now!

This isn’t actually a comment, more an invitation… As Anthony Bertout probably told you, we are planning on running a girl geek dinner at the London Skype office. I was wondering as a Skype employee and also as nerdgirl… I was thinking would you like to be the voice of the technical female in our panel discussion on women, technology and breaking down the barriers?

I’d love it if you could be! Send me an e-mail or skype me! sarahblow for Skype and sarah@sarahblow.com for e-mail and I’ll update the panel list. We already have paul foster of MS for the male geek… and I’m hoping to get a nice lady to be the HR perspective… and someone from Computer Club for Girls as the childrens perspective!

Do let me know… the event is on the 16th August at 7pm

Sarah!

Guess who ordered their Girl Geek Dinner Cakes from Lola’s after you’re suggestion! They looked sooo cute that I had to get the girly cakes from there! So now all the Girl Geeks across London can try them out! :) (or at least those coming to the event. I look forward to meeting you in person! :)
