You know not of which you speak…..in other words, you are full of shit. I have BASE Jumped since 1981, I worry more about driving in los angeles, where I am more likely to die. True enough, confining yourself to a morbidly boring life may be safer, but to what end? A fear of death, is ultimately really a fear of life……….
We BASE Jumpers are hyperaware of our risks, those are confined to equiptment, not yourselves. Regular skydiving is one of the safer sports now, as far as “deaths per participants”. Check the stat’s !!!
What exactly am I full of shit about? I never said that basejumping kills you or anything else. But it clearly makes you ANGRY and SELF-RIGHTEOUS.
In fact, if you read the post correctly I said I was “intrigued” to try it.
But now I’m strangely not because I don’t want to end up the type of person who leaves pissy comments to people on their blogs to justify my sport…
