Yes, it really has come to this. I am really that bored (or boring probably to you) that I have decided to write a top 10 of my favourite hip hop (or rap as it was known in my day) tracks.

This isn’t as easy as one may think. You have to remember that I’ve been listening to rap for most of my life. Starting in the 3rd grade when Graham and I would rock the house with Run DMC and the Beastie Boys through middle school where I adored Yo MTV raps, into teenagehood with a little NWA and well into my adulthood where I can still be found bumping a little Jay-Z and drinking the Crissy Cris.

tupac
rip tupac

So if I have to peruse through nearly 2 1/2 decades of rap music and come up with my all time favourites who would they be? Not really in order…

1. Me, Myself and I - De La Soul
2. Children Story - Slick Rick
3. Juicy - Notorious BIG
4. Woo-Hah!! Got You All In Check - Busta Rhymes
5. Gz and Hustlas - Snoop Dogg
6. Hey Ladies - Beastie Boys
7. Scenario - Tribe Called Quest
8. Monkey Bars - Jurassic 5
9. Forgot About Dre - Eminem and Dre
10. Run’s House - Run DMC

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)
