Arrived to London on Friday evening to the pleasant surprise of being picked up at Gatwick airport by BC Stu. He even managed to make it there on time. Of course, he was sitting in the wrong terminal waiting for me, but if that is all that was wrong then it was OK with me. Went into Putney to meet up with Luke and folks for dinner at Wagamama. Then to some horrible little pub that was filled with 17 year old boys (you’d think I’d be in heaven!).

Saturday woke up quite early. Arlie wasn’t prepared for me to not be able to sleep so I was banished to the living room to watch Sky. Only problem was that Paul was snoring on the sofa. So basically I was banished to the kitchen where I spent the next 2 hours organising Arlie’s plastic bag collection and getting high on Orange zing kitchen degreasing wipes.

Finally the two zombies woke up - right about the time I was going to eat some of the slight outdated eggs in the fridge. Thankfully they saved me from my food poisoned fate and we nipped out into the brisk London afternoon over to Lucky 7. While waiting for our table I managed to down a shot of tequila from Crazy Homies next door. Had a great big filling breakfast surrounded by strange looking children and trustafarian girls showing their latest lingerie line off to their vegetarian friends. Rolled across the street on the pretense that we were “crazy” and were going to get drunk. Bought 12 cans of lager (almost purchased Alize but after brief ghetto fabulous moment abandoned that thought). Got back to Arlie’s and passed out on the sofa without even opening one can. Sweet.

Watched Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Enjoyed it despite expecting Jim Carrey to spaz out at any given second. Ordered a curry from Bengal Tiger. Watched some OC preview of next season. Passed out.

After not going out on a Saturday night and having a relatively light Friday, Arlie and I were both raring to go on Sunday. Phoned up the boys and made a Sunday roast plan for The Cow - which is oddly enough where Ornella and I used to go and eat oysters and drink beers. Geoff arrived and we headed off. Were greeted at the door with the best table in the house and some nice Bloody Mary’s. Ordered oysters and cracknpeel shrimp. Then a bottle of wine. Then another bottle of wine. By this time it was evening time again. Decided to go bowling. Couldn’t find bowling. Decided to go play pool. Headed to pool.

Colin joined at pool. Switched to Vodka Tonics. Too damned smokey hanging out with 5 smokers and me. Got hungry again. Dinner at The Oak. More wine.
