So glad that the birthday party celebration and New Year’s are behind us now. Everyone has left the building as of today. We had a fantastic weekend of eating, drinking, dancing, and much much more. Ornella and Arlie came to town to crash at the casa.
Thursday evening
Ornella arrived in town. Simon, a business partner was in town, so Fiona and I took him for drinks and a meal. O came and met us at Sikkim. We ditched Fiona (she was not pleased with me) and went to Cafe Royale. Ran into cute boy that I met a few weeks ago and his friend Elvis. Left there and went to Otto VIP so Ornella could get her hip-hop groove on with Aaron, the Yankee from Chicago. Home semi early and out like a light.
Friday evening
Girly night out with Arlie, Fiona, Ornella and myself to eat a meal at OT. Everyone almost vomited when the beef cheek that looked like blood sausage came out. I guess that sums up the meal… Followed by drinks at Masimas and dancing to the world’s worst bedroom scratch DJ who played pretty good hiphop in the crowded venue. After which we went to Otto VIP only to be booted for my poor attitude at the door. Despues a la Cafe Royale to find the cute boys that we met the evening previously. And finally to La Macarena to seek Nigel. Came home and watched Charlie smoke a joint and get up to projectile vomit in the toilet. One thing to note on this one, she kept the spliffer in one hand whilst the other held her hair back. She never even put it down. Now that is what I call an expert.
Saturday evening
We had the big dinner at La Fianna with Fiona, Tim, Ornella, Arlie, Patricia, Milkor, Mona, Iva, Giles, Alex the German, Julia and her new man Seato, Nigel, and yours truly. Followed by a night of beverages at La Macarena where the rest of the crew showed up and danced the night away until the breaka breaka dawn at 6am. My feet were so sore that I had to put Bandaids on them and cry and bitch and moan. All in all a great great evening!!!
