fiona, juls, mom and i are all taking an class in opera appreciation. we have about 10 lectures and discussions with homework and the whole shabang. a really good way to really learn all the in-depth info about opera that we’ve been wondering about. following this will be the purchase of season tickets to the opera house here in barcelona. i don’t really know if mom is going to buy opera house fresno tickets, but hey at least we can send her cds.

i’m also taking classes currently in astrology and buddhism. it is like the hippy in me is really coming out this year! add that to the two evenings a week that fiona and i are enrolled in our intermediate spanish classes and i would say that i am pretty booked for this first part of the year. i sometimes forget how fun it is to learn new things!

the schedule for spring will include advanced spanish, golf lessons, and a scuba diving refresher course so i can get ready for summer travels. must go now because i think i drank too much coffee and it would be a good time to look at my spanish verb tables and kill myself over the -arse conjugations.
