bought a car today. or at least, put a deposit on a car. the nerdiest car that you can possibly imagine…a SMART car! that is correct, the little machine that was made by swatch and mercedes benz. the car is quite amazing. i hear that it gets up to 70 miles per gallon!

thankfully the dealership had nearly the exact configuration that i was looking for in stock. black/silver body, air conditioning, glass roof, power steering, and cd-player. the only thing that was missing was the leather seats. cest la vie.

and the best thing about little smart cars is that you can park them anywhere. seriously, you can pull it in sideways in a parking space and it still won’t stick out that far. and i guess that they are pretty safe, as well.
