I have been on a little mission lately to watch all these sappy girl tearjerker movies. I figured that I am kind of pathetic, so I will share them with you.

Love Story
Watched this trauma story tonight. Classic Romeo and Juliet theme without all the violence. Ryan O’Neil plays a hottie Harvard boy that dates Ali McGraw the classic ghetto chick with an attitude. Note Ali’s sweet ass Elton John style glasses in the movie. I think I even learned a lesson with this movie - love means never having to say you’re sorry… Must remember that next time I have a boyfriend!

Terms of Endearment
A guaranteed cry every time. Mother and daughter story starring Shirley McClaine and Deborah Winger. I have to give old Deborah props on this one. Her finest performance since Urban Cowboy. Also notable appearance by our good friend Jack Nicholson as the next door, pimped out aging astronaut who shags Shirley’s character. Here’s Johnny!

Steel Magnolias
Yet another mother, daughter, family story with cancer in it. That good old southern charm and Dolly Parton’s chest - how could you not cry?!? This movie even made me not want to kill Julia Robert’s and her 12,000 teeth!
