went to londres again this weekend. decided on thursday night that since i had friday off - it would be a good thing to visit my favorite friend arlie. the only bad decision making process that ocurred was when i went to autozutz with giles at midnight and stayed until 7 am. almost missed my flight, but as usual, didn’t quite.

arrived in london with a hangover and dehydration the size of texas. but the day was probably one of the loveliest that i have seen old blighty in ages so i was forced to leave arlie’s smoke filled flat. we went shoe shopping and bought some fabo new disco heels. then ate a little lunch at a cafe in marylebone and finally to meet hels for drinks at the tup. sat out there in the london sun and drank pimms for old times sake. we had to depart fairly early since it was the big brother finale and hels n arlie were dying to see who the winner was. so we stopped of for a few bottles of cava/cassis and a good old curry takeaway. basically ate too much and passed out sweating and smelling on arlie’s sofa.

saturday morning got up and went to scarlet nail bar and had a fantastic pedicure/manicure. then off to see austin power’s goldmember. died laughing. came back to life and got all jazzed up for a night on the town doing the typical arlie/steph deal of nobu and drinks.

nobu was lovely. struck up conversation with some canadian ad guys and ended up drinking comp’d cosmos at the met bar all night. then off to stuey masterson’s wimbledon flat for a soft bed and nice cuddle.

woke up dying of drink again. arlie took the tube over to wimbledon and we all headed out for our sunday roast, 15 pitchers of pimms, and a little bit o sun. basically stayed out till around 1ish eating and drinking then headed to arlie’s sofa again.

and now i am back. and i am sweating because it is too fucking hot. no wonder everyone leaves spain in august.

going to buy an air conditioning unit this evening at el corte ingles before i melt.
